I came from London for a business trip and needed a place to work. I couldn’t possibly recommend this coworking space more highly. Starting with the super friendly and helpful community manager Paige who is doing a stellar job looking after each and every coworker and making sure it’s a wonderful environment to work there. In terms of work space, this place has everything you need. A variety of hot desk areas as well as breakout rooms one can use for calls. There is also free coffee and snacks. And a bunch of nice places relatively nearby allow to have great lunch breaks - I went with a couple of other very friendly coworkers who I met on that day. Overall, fantastic coworking vibes. Last but not least, you might get greeted at your desk by a little puppy once in a while - which is the highlight of each work day :). Loved it that this spot was so dog friendly. All in all, I highly recommend Local Office for all two and four legged coworkers who need a place to spend the workday.

Awesome! I got a day pass to work at Local Office while home visiting family. It's a great space and adds a much needed amenity to the neighborhood. The private offices are quiet, clean, and provide everything you need to work remotely.

Highly recommended coworking space in Houston. Just stayed for one day and met many interesting and helpful people. No appointments needed. Super easy.

I needed a space to conduct a virtual sales meeting using my computer equipment but that would be quiet and have WiFi. With little notice I contacted Local Office to arrange short-term office space. It went off without a hitch. I wished I could of give out of there long term as it would remove the distractions of my home office.

I have loved my time at Local office. In a COVID environment, it is nice having a place I can safely come to and produce quality work. It is always clean, the other tenants are friendly and respectful, and overall is great space to work in. The staff is always friendly and welcoming as well!

Amazing experience! Can't waitttt to return! Pet-friendly, extremely clean, and beautiful! From having to call twice because I forgot to ask the right questions to arriving hours later than expected, I felt welcomed! I love this co-working space! I'm in Houston often visiting my daughter and need a place to work. The space is very convenient and has everything I need to stay connected with my team at work. Paige is always so welcoming and wonderful! The work space is clean, well supplied and very conducive to accomplishing all my work. I highly recommend it!

I work from home; A fire caused a power outage in my building? Knowing the annoying time to look for a place to work in public is a hassle. I am so glad I found this place. The management here was gracious enough to wave my daily pass due to my circumstance. Talk about company support. I got so much done here. Local Office is the best "shared office space" that I have tried in Houston! I have tried others and none of them even come close. The atmosphere is great for working, studying....getting things done! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make sure you are set up with whatever you may need. Local Office even offers quite a variety of snacks and beverages. Everything about it just puts you in a good mood!

I'm a freelance writer so have gone in on Day Passes when I have a big project and need to concentrate. It's a great atmosphere for work. Easy to find quiet areas, very easygoing vibe, comfortable seating. Was in there today and Chick FilA brought lunch and Crave brought cupcakes! There's a big, friendly office dog, too, who makes the rounds. I'll be back.

Had an excellent cup of coffee at Cavo, but was having trouble focusing in the buzz of coffee shop noise. Decided to venture upstairs to Local Office. Best decision I could have made! Beautifully, thoughtfully-designed space. Welcoming, comfortable vibe. Great ergonomic chairs. My day went from "how am I going to get all this done?" to happy and super productive. If I lived nearby, I'm certain this would be my regular work spot. Such an upgrade from camping out at a coffee shop!

The fire alarms were being tested in my apartment complex today, so I frantically came here for a day pass and had such a great experience, I plan on returning tomorrow! The space is modern, the WiFi is speedy, the bathroom has dog wallpaper (plus there was an actual dog in the building) and everyone I met - staff included - was super friendly. A welcome change from working from home!

I worked remote here while in town for a wedding. Awesome space. Has everything you need from communal to private space, coffee, etc. Plus there was a (very calm and friendly) dog in the office while I was there - what’s not to love? Not too busy, not too loud.

Stopped by Local Office West University to work for a day before heading to a meeting in Beaumont. Staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating , space was clean and beautiful, snacks were awesome and the location is fantastic! Strongly recommend if you are in the Houston area that you make Local Office West your new home!

Great environment to focus in, and accommodating staff!! I typically work from home and got a floating desk here to get out of the house more, and it's been great so far. The private offices are also cozy and nice to work in.

I came down to Houston on short notice and needed a coworking space on short notice. I quickly found Local Office because they are one of the few places that offer a clear day pass policy. After giving them a call it was easy to reserve a coworking spot, check-in was simple, wifi was excellent for calls. The environment is really modern and the seating comfortable. There are phone booths for private calls available and also conference rooms for rent at an additional charge. Absolutely no complaints and would recommend the space for anyone!

Local Office West U is a fabulous space! There's open workspaces for all varieties of working professionals (private offices, open common rooms, phone booths, conference rooms, etc.) and the staff are awesome and accommodating! I had a meeting emergency and needed some private space to talk on the phone for a long string of meetings, and they were able to help in an instant. Bonus points for the awesome podcast/recording room and the proximity to great coffee and smoothies!

I've been three years at this location and I have been continuously proud of my decision of having my office at this location. Strongly recommend this location! Local Office provides a very welcoming family friendly spot and all the trained dogs are such a great addition to the environment! I really recommend this family owned office space due to the cozy feel you and your clients constantly get. I love interacting with colleagues from all professional backgrounds and the collaboration we get to have thanks to the supportive environment that Paige and staff create for us! Nothing went as planned when I moved to Houston I had deadlines to meet that were falling apart Then I found Local Office West University The moment I walked in I felt a friendly and relaxing breath of fresh air and good energy I so needed that! Plus I was able to use their coworkers space to meet my clients needs and not drop the ball I work remotely from home and the internet company was taking to long to get me up and running With hindsight I am glad they did because that is what drove me to go to Local Office West and I will visit again when I want or need a good energy place even if it is just to escape sometimes

Great meeting spaces and the staff is super accommodating. Very clean and up to date.

I use this place for podcast recording. They have a small sound proof room with everything you need. Mic, ring light, head phones. It’s not a super fancy setup (no monitors or TVs) but it is efficient, effective and budget friendly. I’ve been twice and would highly recommend. Plan on going back. Also the lady on staff is nice and has the cutest dogs !

I needed a place to work for the day before catching an evening flight. Local Office space was beautiful and inviting, and the staff was really accommodating! There are lots of amenities in the area and is easy to get to. I will definitely return if I'm in Houston again.

This is perfect for that day when you need to get work done without being bothered by the crowds that are in and out of a coffee place.

I was lookin for pricing, and it wasn't obvious to me.. I can appreciate options so a price list might have helped. Competition in the space were the same..

I came in hoping for a good experience. After calling their phone multiple times, I drove to the space to ask for pricing as it's not listed in the website ($229 per month by the way for regular business hours). When I arrived, at the top of the stairs, was a large black dog staring at me. It startled me because I would have had to walk over him and he was without a leash. Because I've been bitten by a dog before, I try to be cautious. I called out to someone saying "hello, someone's dog, please" and a white blonde lady with short hair asked me what I needed? I told her there's a dog there and she just stared at me and said this is a dog friendly place. And although I understand that and have even fostered dogs (post my dog bite) this dog was without a leash and was not wagging his tail, he seemed to be in protective mode. I asked the lady for membership prices and she told me it's a dog friendly place, which I understand and it's fine as I usually work in the evening. I was asking for 24/7 access pricing and she told me that's only for dedicated space desk, still no pricing was offered. She stared blankly at me. Mind you, this entire interaction was me in the middle of the stairs and her and the pup at the top of the stairs. At no point did she invite me in or move her pup out of the way. I was hoping this would work out because I didn't want a space in downtown but I ended up going with Sesh Coworking. Women-friendly and POC friendly and worth the customer service. They're prices are also a lot better. $199 for regular businesses hours, $229 for 24/7 access, and $389 for a dedicated desk AND 24/7 access. I ended up going with the dedicated desk option and I'm happy with it. Local Office West U missed out on a customer. Please train your staff to be more inviting, respond with empathy, and to see the divinity in each human, whether or not they like or are afraid of dogs.
