Since coming to Green Desk in 2013, my experience has been unique, with the ongoing construction next door as well as the building it self not every day was a good. But it all was manageable and still the best part of being a member of the Green Desk community are the two most extraordinary individuals that keep it all together, Karen Matos and Melanie Villalona. Thanks to the work this two amazing individuals put in every day to make sure that every tenant gets the attention they need, Green Desk will be keeping my businesses for many more years to come.

Never been in myself, so I'm not sure how it is. Could be lovely, but some of the inhabitants sure aren't. But here resides the company "Book Riot" (however they go by "Riot New Media Group, Inc" on their website). The company that lashes out on readers and commenters they disagree with on their social media, and let the ones they agree with ridicule said commenter they disagree with. And then have the audacity to hide behind "terms of use" and phrases like "do not insult our readers". I was simply pointing out that they were being hypocritical and writing a story without any context at all. They wrote, and shared an article on Facebook about Ivanka Trump being ridiculed about supporting libraries and literacy, despite her father removing fundings from such things. I then stated they should not judge someone based off of someone elses actions, no matter who they are. Then I got a comment back from the moderator of the Facebook page saying as Ivanka is affiliated with the association, she is guilty. Not how it was written, but that was the message being said. Other commenters joined in saying "why doesn't she openly disavow his actions then?" I then stated that she doesn't need to, she's an adult and she can make her own decisions. Then again someone commented that if she wanted to distance herself, she could have. I then said that disagreeing with someone doesn't mean you have to distance yourself, and went on to state that after reading the article, they had not once even tried to get a quote from Ivanka Trump, they had just written a totally baseless and context-less story about her, with nothing but assumptions. I said it is not right to blindly hate someone and to make assumptions with no context, no matter who someone is. Then for this, my comments were deleted and the Facebook page blocked me, stating that I was "being insulting". I do not have screenshots as I did not think the moderators would be so immature after being told not to write an article based on assumptions and blind hate. But I do know that any place that hosts them in their current frame of moral integrity deserves the lowest score.
